Naughty Dog released the sequel to ‘The Last of Us’ in July 2020. I firmly believe it’s a high water mark for interactive entertainment. I didn’t so much play through it as hold on for dear life as I was yanked from my reality and dragged by the chest through a taut meaningful story which has stayed with me since. Everything clicked so well that I felt as if I had lived through the experiences of the characters. It had to end but I kept wanting more. Just another area. One more cutscene.
After my fifth play through I started using the photo mode to capture specific angles and poses I felt like drawing. This collection is the result of me appreciating the work of Naughty Dog on another level. I’m particularly happy with the full body drawings of Ellie and Abby. I used custom brushes and I feel the line work came out exactly as I wanted it.
