My take on the squads of World Cup 2018.
I was commissioned by COPA90 to design the label of their limited edition World Cup IPA. It was my first time producing packaging and was a big change in approach so massive thanks to Nick Lewis for the great direction.
I worked with TBWA/Chiat/Day on developing artwork for Gatorade’s ‘Everything Changes‘ campaign, the biggest in their 50 year history. I produced 5 gifs and one portrait of an angry Suarez which appears for a split second on a training dummy (blink and you’ll miss it). I was tasked with executing the creative team’s ideas and developing a few new directions to pursue. A pleasure from start to finish, I hope people get as much fun from watching the final piece as I had making my small part in it.

I wanted to give the biggest football personalities cultural life outside the football arena.
I developed gifs of memorable moments for the Bundesliga’s end of season review.
I provided illustrations for ‘Do You Speak Football‘ written by Tom Williams, published by Bloomsbury. The book is an expertly compiled compendium of the weird and wonderful words and phrases used to describe football around the world. It was great to be given the freedom to pursue larger than life takes on the already colourful subject matter.

I worked with RE:Sydney to produce illustrations for Optus, an Australian telecommunications company. They had secured Premier League broadcast rights across Australia and associated territories. Their aim was to convey the feeling of a match day in England with modular and quickly understood illustrations that could be further altered to reflect the future needs of the campaign.
I was commissioned by Manchester City FC ahead of their first ever Champions league semi final appearance. I created 9 GIF comic panels in all.

I designed a boot every day for a month and collected the best results.
I started out drawing a Nike athlete every day. The aim was to combine a portrait with text in a unified way. I branched out as the project progressed.
I envisioned footballers inserted into different periods of history, what jobs would they have gotten? Would they have carried on playing?
